I like the Fijian singing. I'm a Tongan PNGan. I'm filled with pride everytime our island folk settle down to sing hymns to their maker, whether its Tongans, Fijians, Samoans, PNGans, Cook Islanders or others. You'd have to be an islander to understand the warmth of feeling, emotions and love that singing from the heart inspires.
The Fijians sing from the heart in Union and now League. Having done so well in both codes they must be doing something right. If it helps ground them before the game and helps them focus on the task at hand, all the more to them. Go Fiji Batis, fly over the Roos.
