Are the United States going to be playing in the upcoming World Cup, I know the sport isn't common over there but they do play it.
They were involved in the Qualifiers, and went pretty OK, but lost to the Samoans in the repachage qualifier match who eventually went on to take the spot. They actually were pretty impressive considering they don't get much international play and gained many new fans... they are considered these days as a true second tier nation.
Rumour has it that in Hawaii later this year, about August I think - USA, Japan, Tonga, Fiji and Samoa will be playing a 5 nations tournament.
