I hope France will organize the next world Cup, withe final in Paris (a future new stade Jean-Bouin or Le Parc des Princes) and other venues in Perpignan, Toulouse, Montpellier, Béziers, Nîmes, Bordeaux, Barcelone (Spain), because its a possibility to see a franchise of Super League in Paris (in association with Stade Français Rugby Union), in 2012.

Somehow I doubt it will be held in France. I don't think they will be ready by 2013, which is most likely when the next WC will be held. I would like to see England and France get games, France get a quarter, semi and frances pool games, other than that england should get games. If celtic get a franchise maybe give wales a home game. I think an entire world cup held in france would be VERY risky.

 Also I havn't heard anything about a paris franchise in SL. Maybe they will bid for 2012 but I'm pretty sure paris had a franchise before and it was a massive failure. Toulouse will most likely get a SL in 2009 or 2012.

If anything they will be co-hosts with the UK, hopefully there will be a 12 team WC with a second tier 8 team tournie, so that you can spread games around a bit.

Final in Paris doubt that very much, maybe a semi final. Perpignan, Toulouse would get games, Beziers probably not, Stade mediteranee is just not upto WC standard I think... transport infrastructure around it sucks. Barcelona :o Wont happen in the next 20 years.

There has been talk of this p[articularly after last years France V NZ game. Apparently the very union crowd there were extremly impressed with the game ans Stade Francais owner was interested in trying a Harlequins set up. But I think they will need to get into Elite 1 first before any SL franchise. First lets see if Toulouse get in and if they do make them a success before we start to jumping the gun. I am not anti-Paris having world class RL but we need to be realistic about this.

Brilliant idea, sounds like a receipe for disaster. After the 2000 RLWC took games away from league heartlands and was a complete flop you are proposing they do this again only this time try a different country.

what about newzealand i know that there so close to us but there the next best. the game has to be held in either nz,uk or Aus
