    catalanc:

do you think it could be a good idea to get some kind of an online petition together asking for fair, unbiased coverage (and plenty of it) of the RL WC,

with the idea of sending it to the leading news agencies (bbc, cnn, reuters, efe)??

    something to think about!!

Oh listen don't get me wrong, I am all up that we need to get in an fight for the sport. I am just saying that the rah's wont take things lying down that's all. Really it has to start from this week. The NZ tour and PNG tour need to be shown how good they are and can be. Its a travesty iun my eyes that the Aussies are not doing a 3-4 game tour of Tonga and Fiji to promote the game. Have invited a team of two down like Serbia to play a game or two. There is a good following from the Balkan migrants in Australia, and RL has been played in the old Yugoslavia on and off since the late 50's.

geeze i wonder why there were no supporters @ the game in warington... maybe it had somethin to do with the RWC final???

there was no supporters at the game because it was a freindly between two B teams, and the RFL are a joke

    marv,

B teams? didnt you see the line ups (especially the northern union)?

friendlies don't usually result in several injured players...you seem to be the only person who thinks it was a friendly!

the RFL are a joke at times...will they never learn??

    Re: Four Nations

B teams? there were some world class players on display, i would have loved to seen it.

I hope the english and french turn out in numbers to the tests this summer, for france not just the NZ game but i hope there are strong 15000+ crowds for the PNG games and 10000+ for the Scotland game.

The french have a great oppurtunity to see a sport where there are more than 2 or 3 goals/tries scored. RL is the best game in the world and we need to spread the game. Not just to france and the UK but all over europe and the pacifics aswell as maybe South Africa and Asia.

    Re: Four Nations

Its in South Africa, and quite a large comp too, they celebrated 21 years of unbroken competition this year, though its been played there in some form for over 50 years.

Asia you are up against Baseball and soccer. japan is probably the only other likely country form there. They tried getting it going in Singapore but it died very quickly unfortunately.

so your last arguament pointed to the teams, once it was shown that the teams were almost completley different, you had no arguament

so then you come out with childish rubbish like "...know better than Tony Smith, Kemble or Morley"

as if those people are coming out before a game which is tragically undersellling and saying that the games not worth anything, any idiot can look at the AG v NU game and see it was an exibhition, a freindly, do you honestly think that the players would have thrown the ball around with such abandon in a full test?

maybe the extra 7,000 odd people who could have sold out HJ stadium know better too?

P.S i dont need to insult you, faced with the evidence your doing that yourself
