    Struggling With The Schedule!!

I am planning which games i need tickets for. And cant really understand the schedule!! ( i know ! im stupid)  Can anyone tell me, is there any way of knowing which semi final England are most likely to be in? The Sydney Semi or the Brisbane Semi? or will this be something ill have to wait to find out after the tournament kicks off?

Do you reckon it'll be possible to get the tickets for which ever semi final i need to while im over there?

Me and a few friends plan to hire a campervan and travel to all the games, anyone else doing that?

    Cant wait

    Cheers

    Re: Struggling With The Schedule!!

Well I think its tough to know exactly where a team will finish, But I think that England will be either 2 or 3, thus I would bank on Brisbane semi finals.

... now wait for the critisism to start... England for number 1? Hehe... ;)

Yep Team A2 plays A3 and team A1 plays the winner of the qualifier Team B1 vs. Team C1.

http://www.rlwc08.com/schedule/default.aspx I see what you mean, doesn't have who is who.

http://www.rlef.eu.com/competitions08.htm This one not that much better

http://www.rugbyleagueinternationalscores.com/International/2008  Not sure where I got this info last year when I did it up... I think it was the old RLIF web site. I think someone needs to go and confirm these.

I hope you know driving distances and driving times for Oz.

I've had english friends ask if they can just pop up to Australia Zoo, north of brisbane, from Gosford for a quick day trip in the car..  they had no idea how big this country really is.

The Wikipedia page is fairly easy to understand (hopefully it is correct):

I've gone by this and bought tickets for the Brisbane Semi-Final. I'm coming from NZ and thinking they'll come 2nd or 3rd in pool play. If they do happen to come 1st then it will be Australia v England in Brisbane and I'm sure I'll be able to sell my tickets and pick some up for the Sydney Semi-Final.

Famous last words, I would not count on that.

I wouldn't be so sure, why not get tickets for both and if you only want to see 1 sell the other tickets. That's if NZ even make the finals, PNG could upset NZ or England, hell maybe even australia..
