Australian Rugby League History traveling show.

    http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,23331807-23214,00.html

This has got to be close to the quote of the last 100 years!

"I remember the first game I played over there (on tour in England). We were out on the field and I said to (Reg) Gasnier – after all these Pommies came out who were all six- foot-two, 16 stone coal miners and that sort of thing – I said 'Gaz'. He said, 'what chook?' And I said 'I'd like to be home with Mum and Dad now.'"

They have the cellabration in april 6th up here in toowoomba so will check that out before hand, might grab some shots for you also. We are lucky to have so much memorabilia still after all these years. I for one are looking forward to this, you getting the chance to see it  Jim. Druzik wont be able to? My wife is having a day off as well to have a look.

Hmmmm.... be streatching it for me to get there and see it. Hehe... year be great to see something like this. I hope that it will be doing the rounds around the grounds in the WC too! Be great for all the UK, French and any other fans to see this history as well.

Actually I am surprised that its not going around Australia wide. Am sure that there are many fans in WA that would love to see it.

Why not take it all around australia? I'm Talkin WA, SA, Victoria, Tassy, NT, everywhere. Surely it would gain intest in states other than QLD and NSW.

I'LL get a picture of it and get a picture for druzick of brisbane and the valley becoming one huge city, he might shite himself though, hehee

I lived right near the city on the river 35 year ago and all i could see out the window was the city hall, how times have changed hey jim?

This is why i moved back to towwomba, the traffic was getting worse than sydney.

So, has anybody been to this League of Legands exhibition at the National Museum yet?

If so, please let us know what you think!

I am looking forward to its arrival in Sydney in September.

Meanwhile, I have to be content with the catalogue that can be viewed online:
