A side made up entirely of Serbian Championship players, including many from champions Dorcol Spiders where not good enough to beat a strong Moroccan side at the Stade Vuillermet in Lyon.
The Moroccans are largely based in the two Elite Championship leagues and their strength shone through going into half time 24-06 up with only Granic managing to get any points for the Serbs, his try converted by Novakovic. By full time Morocco had won 44-06, much to everyones expectation.
The Serbian team did do well on Wednesday though, having beaten Mably 30-10 in a friendly, but today the Moroccans were just to strong with too much experience. The game was watched by 1,500 people, most of them Lyon fans although Danny Kazandjian of the RL European Federation was present.
Referee was Christophe Grandjean (France) with assistants Harris Djac (Serbia) and Djamel Merzouk (France).
