Does anyne have a list of players who would be available to play for these teams? It's going to be a damn hard fought WC!
With 40% of the players in the NRL of Pacific Islander heritage, these teams could easuly upset established teams!

i would also like to see a list of eligible players, not just for the islands but for ireland, scotland and lebanon..........not just in the NRL either it would be interesting to see what kind of team these nations COULD call upon if they wanted to

I'm not aware of any Fijians who are playing in Australian 1st grade NRL. I believe Tuqiri (even though he now plays rugby) is of Fijian descent.

kevin prior formerly played for souths logan and now plays for the wentworthville magpies an the jim beam cup and also the parra a grade (wherever selected). he hasnt ever played for redcliff. costigan has no ambitions to represent png if his past comments are anything to go by.

 

good list though, the kumuls will go ok with a mix of locals and overseas talent.

Hey guys, I just discovered this site today, its great, Though you are right, some of the players have moved on from  these clubs.

 Very excited being a new guinean living in Townsville, Qld I will get to watch the England vs PNG game, and hopefully the Australia Vs PNG game up

here, it should be a very exciting world cup.

Nice lucky you, I am hoping to get to their game against wales this year at Bridgend.
