Let me try that again ... Dropped the first sentence in my copy paste as this forum doesn't allow someone of my typing speed to finish what they are saying before clearing it " Mid Rant " ...

Firstly, well said ... I agree with your summary and with that of Peter Jessup; except I personally back the Video Referee in regards to the awarding of the " Hohaia " Penalty Try ... Personally I believe there are circumstances similar to this that are often overlooked and should at least be looked at as possible Penalty Tries but generally they are not awarded or even considered ...

    Why is this ??? I really Do Not Know ... ... ...

You don't have to look too far in the past to see an example of this either ... In the Opening Ceremony match between The Kangaroos and The Kiwis Jerome Ropati was robbed of a try when Billy Slater " Stripped " the ball albeit with his foot in a dangerous boot first sliding manoeuvre which he was cautioned for post match and lucky not to have made contact with Ropati's face/head which could have caused serious injury ... I was very surprised to see no action taken on field ( as I was when Billy Slater pulled a similar manoeuvre in the NRL Grand Final ) and still adamantly believe a Penalty Try should have been awarded ... To say Ropati simply lost control of the ball is laughable ... ...

The only problem with Penalty Tries in Rugby League is that they are not always given or considered when they should be ...

Yup, more sour grapes given by a poor loser. We all saw the game and it was fair. As for saying "Even the commentators admit that the try cannot blah blah blah" well as you probably don't see in your biased views, the commentators are biased and its a joke that you use them as a reliable source. The whole games just an aussie wa_k. Everyones sick of ozzie excuses for losing. Show some sportsmanship for a change.

Don't get me wrong I totally agree with the penalty try being awarded.  Hohia had a clear and shorter path to the ball (well as clear as it could be if his head had been removed first) he was sprinting onto the ball. I guarantee that if the exact same incident had occurred ( and I mean the exact same incident) in reverse i.e Billy had his head taken off going for the ball the same mouthy Australians would be hands on heart declaring it was a fair try... I don't actually believe it was as contentious an issue as its being portrayed. Its blatant straw grasping.  The Australians simply didn't have the skills to adjust their game plan when presented with real competition nor did they have the mind set to match the Kiwis.  Glad you mentioned the Slater slide that they got away with earlier in the pool rounds as they keep banging on about their first up win 30-6 as being some kind of marker of their superiority..again first up one off encounters between the Kiwis and the Aussies are not going to be on a level playing field (refer to my earlier point).. I don't know if you heard the commentary after the RLWC final from Ray Warren but he happened to mention the 58-0 record flogging that we copped (when Steve Matai was sent off for that beautiful shot on Mark Gasnier for which Ray failed to mention). That contest was over the second Steve Matai was sent off, prior to that we had been going toe to toe with them.. What I'm trying to say here is that the Aussies from the very top down will take a win at any cost and rub it in your face without looking too deeply into whats going on with the game. It takes them to get shut out and embarrassed by a better team for them to actually start analysing the game..If nothing else at least they're talking hopefully some of the points they've been making will lose their lustre when they take the green and gold Pirates patch off . Another interesting read http://www.leaguehq.com.au/news/news/klein-got-it-right-say-refs/2008/11/26/1227491636103.html hopefully this shuts a few of them up once and for all. The facts are the facts..

God Ricky Stuart is a *** !!!  I can't believe he had the audacity to say that to Klien ... I'm FURIOUS !!!  I know for a fact he will get away with this as a certain group of Australia's " Elite " Sportsmen and Coaches always do ... I am happier than ever that The Kiwi's put on an Outstanding performance and wiped the Smug look off his face ...

The Kiwi's played with Passion and Heart and belief in themselves and Their Coaching Team ... I am so glad Bluey lead The Kiwi's to the victory in 2005 because that set the stage for this drama ... Australia in their short sightedness " Pushed " Wayne Bennett out of the Australian Coaching role ... His effort with the All Golds last year which I doubt he would have been involved with otherwise gave us a glimpse of what talented Kiwi players are capable of in the hands of a True Coaching Guru ... And Kearney and Bennett's performance with this Kiwi Squad was exceptional ... Solid performances with less and less of the traditional Kiwi errors Peaking in the Final ...

The New Zealand Kiwi's proved you don't have to " Walk Over " every team in a competition to Win the Final ... Perhaps this is a lesson the All Blacks could learn ... No one cares if your thrash everyone in sight in the between years if you can't win The Cup ...

    2008 Kiwi's ... Great Hero's who came before ... We Salute You !!!

P.S. I am not buying into talking about their " GripeFest " anymore ... Cry Baby Whiney Arsed Bitches that They Are ... ... ...

You will hear innumerable " Conspiracy " Reports from these men ... They will Stamp their Feet ... Sook ... Cry ... Re: My opinion on NZ 'victory'

It's been an interesting aftermath guys. I was so excited watching the game, it was incredible. Then disgusted the next morning when I heard about Stuarts rant. To try and belittle the efforts of our boys was disrespectful beyond words. Disrespectful of the team, New Zealand, Australia and the awesome code that is rugby league.

It almost got me to the point of "why bother if this is what you're up against". A bit reminiscent of the hurdles the Warriors faced in the early years. But in the end, common sense will prevail, and the win tastes that much sweeter because of the uproar. The Kiwis really did them over, and they were shellshocked.

This is going to be one of the great games of all time. Although I'm not one for watching games from days gone by, as soon as this one comes out on DVD I'll be first in line.

    GO KIWIS!! GO WARRIORS!!

I'm just wondering if his prolonged absence coinciding with Ricky's " Holiday " is a coincidence ... ...

But then perhaps his continual harassment has made me Paranoid ... Oh No !!! Look Out !!! Ambush ... !!! ...

Don't give up Bray !!! They want Us to think why bother ... Good will Out in the End !!! Even through the Trying years as a Warriors Fan I took solace in the Fact that at least Our Team wasn't a bunch of Cheats ... !!! ...

I've pretty much watched every replay I've stumbled across and the DVD should be superb ...

The 4 Nations next year should be interesting too ... I think this Kiwi Squad will handle The Kangaroo's out for revenge much better than previous and both England and France have a lot to prove after this World Cup ... Good Times Ahead I predict !!!

I was waiting to get a bible full of words from or708 but it seems he has accepted the loss. The more replays i watch of the game the more i love it.I have been loyal to the warriors and kiwis for years and they have repaid me in full. The world cup was amazing and despite all the negative vibes from critics etc,i think it was a big success.Good for the future of rugby league.

You know what!? you are pathetic you've twisted just about all the evidence in your  favour.

You are a one-eyed, sore loser and I hope that for your sake you have your ephinany very soon.

     There TOO MUCH BULLSHIT that you've written in your essay to even bother highlighting it all. but I would like to say that;

    1. Yes it shouldn't of been a penalty try but it was a professional foul and a penalty and sin binning should have followed which would of made it very hard for Australia.

    2. Do not get offended by someone judging you when you did it right back to him you weak hypocrite.

    3. Despite your opinion, despite how much you think you are right, there is one comeback and despite what you may think it is very relevant. Kiwis are world champions!!!! suck it up, follow the dignified Australians and stop trying to make excuses. What annoys me even more is that your such a pest I couldn't resist replying to your absurb claims, You WASTED my time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
