    Re: World Cup TV Coverage

ESPN 360 will be carrying games on its website, but not on T.V., for American fans.

Is anybody willing to copy all or most the games from television onto VHS or DVD, and mail them to me in the U.S.?

    Thanks.

Send a letter or e-mail to espn and let them know that donald trump will be at the semi final , maybe they might televise the games.?

I am writing a post about this at the moment , get some comments about what the outcome might be regarding his visit.

    Re: World Cup TV Coverage

    Hello,

Im a huge Yankee rugby league fan. I been a fan for about 15 years.I became a fan when I was living in northern europe. Anyway, I watch RL on Setanta sports USA here. They show most of  Super League and the NRL matches. Im assuming and hoping they are going to show the Rugby League World Cup because they showed England's test match against France and they show the Tri Nations as well. Cheers to the greatest sport RL-Let it Bleed

Thats good to know , i thought that they did not have any league on t/v in america, at least you can get coverage on sentanta, thank you for the info let-it-bleed. And by the sound of it you could possibly get the world cup games telecast by the sounds of this . Might help the first guy who wanted to know if he could veiw the world cup games, maybe if he sent them a e-mail to find out if they are covering the world cup games. Excellent.

    Re: World Cup TV Coverage

Pretty sure ESPN 360 is covering the Rugby League World Cup in the USA.

    It is a broadband service.

    Re: World Cup TV Coverage

“That Sky TV and BBC TV are already making their plans to cover the event in full, that matches will be screened worldwide in countries like the USA, Spain, the Middle East, the Far East and north Africa and that journalists of every newspaper (including League Weekly) have already booked their flights signifies the importance of international competition to the profile and development of our game.”

sounds like the world cup coverage is in good hands!, it's just a shame channel nine won't be showing all the games, but i wouldn't expect anything more from them, lucky i have fox, but i feel for those die hard league fans who don't, and can't get to any live games.

Brad you seem to be in with the officila RLWC crowd... I have had my many emails ignored... can you tell me if Euro sport or DSF in Germany will get any games? They are the only two sport channels that I have here and I know that DSF has shown the 6 Numptions this year and Eurosport occasionally shows the Rahrah as well... which I flatly refuse to watch... unless to put me to sleep.

    Re: World Cup TV Coverage

ESPN in the US will be showing the RLWC on ESPN360, its Internet website.

Is anyone willing to tape many or most of the matches (especially, the final matches) on VHS or DVD for me: a Yank fan who almost never gets to see RL?  We could discuss terms.

    Re: World Cup TV Coverage

With regards to Germany, they are in talks and hope to announce something in the next couple of weeks

Also they are pretty sure it wont be covered by DSF or Eurosport.

I don't have an in-depth knowledge of German TV so i'm not sure who that means will get it.

    Hope that helps

could be Pro sieben then, they do the occasional big sport, they did the french S14 finals this year... didn;t see the coverage so not sure how good it is. OK DSF is not the greatest sports network, but they do do sports so was thinking they would be more than likely... Eurosport not getting it is very surprising, if there is any channel that should get it then its them.

OK I look forward to seeing something in two weeks... convert the nth germans to TGG! :D
